I was using the themes from NUKEMODS (XPmidnight, zoneCopper, XPSilver) on my old PHP-Nuke site.

Now i have just installed a brand new and fresh RN and i would like to keep using those NUMEMODS themes.

I already realized some problmes on missing .tpl files but before i start loading them i was just wondering if there is already a lit of files that needs to be upgrade so i don;t post here every time i got into a bump.

Thanks,

In theory there shouldn't be anything to update, but the theme could be using the old database layer. Have a look to see if there are any references to $dbi. The only other thing might be the attachment mod and there are posts here talking about what to do.

I have been using the zoneCopper with out a problem. I simply uploaded/replaced the .tpl files from RavenIce. Nukemods are cool, but 100% cms themes are better Very Happy check out nukecoder.com some one also posted subblack almost all compliant also. I'm using it and working fine thus far.

I have copied the missing .tpl file for the attached module and now the error is gone.

But now i am having a small issue on the forums control panel where the table is a little weird. Could you take at look at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] you will see it a little broken.

I try copying it back but still messed. Can you give me some light there Smile

Thanks,

I just looked at it real quick with FF 3.x and I cannot visually see anything amiss? What browser are you using and what are you seeing?

I am using IE7 and what i see is either on the forums or PM the control panel table is a little messed at the end.

The funny part is that on my old site (nuke) this is not happening. It is only messing with the XPMidnight theme. The others seems fine.

You need to look the /ccus.rn folder is where my RN is installed at this momment.

I would recommend getting firefox and the tidy html validator addon.. there are a few errors that could be cleaned up without too much effort; and that would likely fix your layout issues.

Here's the results of an online validation service [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

( I think the tidy addon is easier to use )

you may have some work ahead of you to fix every warning, but start with the errors and any warnings about scripts, stylesheets, doctype, tables, spans, and div's

the most common warnings are image, br, and hr tags not being closed correctly, but those shouldn't cause layout issues in most cases...

BAD
Code:
<br>

<hr>
<img src="image.jpg">
GOOD
Code:
<br />

<hr />
<img src="image.jpg" />

or just find another theme someone has already cleaned up Smile
