Sentinel 2.5.x + PHPNuke 7.9 patch3.3 + magic_qoutes_gpc ?

Hi all,

When I have magic_qoutes_gpc On then I get problems with both users that get blocked for simple things like editing their signature (including some html to display an image e.g) are bocked by abuse script.
Further I can't put simple html into both the news module and the signature, both are wysiwig edit boxes.
Besides Sentinel 2.5.15 and PHPNuke 7.9 with Chatserv's patch 3.3 I have updated BB2Nuke to 2.22.
I would like to know if it is better to have magic_qoutes_gpc off with this software or not, and if not, wat I have to do with the issues (users being blocked by the sentinel when editing their signature and not being able to put html into both the signature and the news module.

Hi Raven,

I got the answer in another thread from Evaders99.
He told me that magic_qoutes_gpc should be off.
I have turned it off now and the site runs very nicely since then, and is even able to handle over 150 concurrent users with the sentinel functionalling well.
