I'm sure there is a way to add allowed tags somewhere but I can't figure it out.

Basically I added the Lightbox module and with it I need to add a html tag "rel=..."

Everytime I do this, either in News or Content, the source code gets altered. For example when I do this :-

<a href="images/1953.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img src="images/thumb_1953.jpg"></a>

It goes wonky, then I check the source it has become this :-

<a rel="lightbox" href="images/1953.jpg"><img src="images/thumb_1953.jpg" alt="" /></a>

Help please!

It is in config.php. See the $allowableHTML array towards the bottom.

montego, many thanks!

Strange though that when I look at the source code AFTER saving, I see the "rel" tag still gets swapped over in position.

It now works like a charm in "Content" but somehow will not work in "News".

It is possible that the kses filtering is moving that, however, the order in which an attribute occurs within a tag has no meaning to user agents, so not sure why it matters that it "gets swapped over in position"?

Ah I see. I was wondering if the swapping was the reason why the tag does not work in the News module. Having said that the tags also gets swapped in the Content module but the tag works. Still puzzled.

Not sure what you are trying to do or what the rel tag is doing for you. What does "work" vs. "not work" really mean in this case.

Sorry, just not familiar with Lightbox.

Ah sorry, basically the Lightbox addon adds a couple Javascripts in the includes folder so that when you now have thumbnails in your News or Content module, you can open the larger versions of the thumbnails in the fashion demonstrated on this page :-

(dims out the main webpage and only displays the larger image). Its fancy but someone did a small addon for php-nuke that does the same thing. To use the feature, you have to use the rel="lightbox" tag.

Anyway, after your suggestion above and I added the "rel" tag in config.php, the feature works in the Content module. In the News module, the image just opens in the window without the dimming etc.
