Your installation does not seem to be up to date. Updates are available for your version of phpBB, please visit [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] to obtain the latest version of BBToNuke (the ported version of phpBB files for phpNuke).
The latest available version is phpBB 2.0.22. You are running phpBB 2.0.20.
Iv hade people trying to reply to im gettin this error.
Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form.
i read in phpbb that it was a error in 2.0.20 |

The latest RavenNuke, version 2.10.01, has the latest available phpBB, which is 2.0.22.
However the invalid session problem still exists in 2.0.22. If you search these forums for 'invalid session' you will find some fixes (that don't really work IMHO, they just seem to move the problem around a bit). |

I just commented out the new code they put in. I don't feel that it's adding that much anyway - just my opinion. |

For you, maybe. For others, myself included, it was happening just trying to post. |

We could comment out the session check as Raven suggested. |

I'll bet that since Nuke creates PM's as a separate module, there is somewhere missing an append_sid function, which in turn causes phpBB to throw an invalid session error. I'd say it'd be more appropriate to track the SID problem than commenting out the code. As phpBB has gone through so many updates since it was truly integrated with Nuke, I'm wondering if the PM module has a few parts that have not kept up. Just guessin'...

PHrEEkie, it doesn't happen to everyone, but when it does happen, it seems to hang around for a long time. You can change your phpBB cookie name and that will sometimes "fix" it. But only 2 out of the 100 or so active users on my site have seen the problem. I have seen it only 1 time on my production site. It is very weird.
Montego and I were seeing it on our local XAMPP systems with the latest RN. I was only seeing it in IE7 and Opera, but not Firefox. I changed the cookie name and that fixed it for Opera, but IE7 was still seeing it. |
