osc2nuke's future

Hello @all...

As some of you might noticed, there's no osc2nuke online anymore.
Reasons:
Personal debts , not that much... around $2000, couse of these i cant afford hosting (previously true godaddy, +/- $80 a year).

To notice... i didnt do much to osc2nuke script(beside i imported oscommerce 3 alpha 5).
The main reason is that oscommerce still building on oscommerce 3.
It seems they not know what they must provide theire users with, it could contain dramatic changes to the current build.
For that osc2nuke v3 cant be a release candidate.
But that mean we are offline.
I still own the domain for 1 year...lets say from now.

In the meantime i will try to holdon with develloping stuff in php,ajax,xhtml and the current populair html5.
But also android (man i love it), it realy took my interest,infact i made already an app for it.
I was invited to appinventor.

But i will try to come to my point.
As for now i dont make much $ ( i never did), i plan to build my wife a "container" where she can sell waffle's.My wife suffers epeleptic, seems the worst form you can get.She not fall down and see her shake... she becomes as i call it "aphatic" you cant talk to her, she cant her you, she not speak... she just stares and get a tick by rubbing her fingers.
@ night (when she sleeps) she get the attacks you might be knowing... with all the shaking etc etc.
Couse she suffers this disease, she isnt allow to work for anyone elses.
They simply dont want her,couse of the risks.
So i want to build her this container...simular to this, just a little fancyer.

We want to stand on our own feet,and to realy do all yourself is hard.
I make €1500 a month and my wife gets €500 a month... seems do-able after cleared a debt from around €20.000 the last 6 years... just €1500 left to go....and only made $2000 in 10 year since osc2nuke (lol).
To mention Bruno and Vic payed for it...and not to forget luck(osc2nukelite period.)

Just to let you know....osc2nuke isnt a company.... we(for now it is justme) not grab your money...we want that you make some, we hoped we would make some 2.
This is the first time osc2nuke looks death... it feel we failed....

With this post i first wanted to tell/ask something else... to much personal things involved, to much i already mentioned...especialy abouth my wife... maby i shouldnt have do that....

If (and I believe it can be so) you can improve your skills by developing Android apps its likely to be a much better venue to generate some income then osc2nuke has been. Your obviously passionate about it. Its also closer to the future of web development everyone has their heads in the clouds and visualized environments. Portable applications are very hot no matter the language being used.

Perhaps as the OSC base code stabilizes this will change?
