Rank Images and Title (and more!)

Hey

Ok I have a few problems after nuke install.

Allow me to go through them:

1. I am unable to change the rank for a user, It says it was updated but doesnt.

2. I am unable to change a user from 'User' to 'Administrator' in the forum admin, again it says it was completed but it isnt. (I have tried replacing the admin_ug_auth and fixgroup.php)

Running PHP-Nuke 7.8 with 3.0b patches and Sentinel 2.4.0

Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like there is a discrepancy between your user admininistration and the nuke_users table. Did you upgrade this installation from a previous version?

Also, please search for repeated warnings about the (in)security of versions 7.7 and 7.8.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes the database was from version 7.6 of nuke, I queried various different tables onto the 7.8 install including the nuke_users table.

In fact it was chatserv who helped with a lot, and if he reads this he may be able to shed some light.

Any idea what the discrepencies could be and how to fix them?

There are probably some additional fields in the later version of the table. You probably just need to add those fields to the table. Check the upgrade SQL that came with 7.8 - it should be there.
