I am using PHPNuke Version 7.6 with patch 3.0, CNB YA 4.4.2 and NukeSentinel™.

Is their a way for me to detect the IP Address/URL/Website Page that a user was viewing before they visited my site, (i.e. a site that is linking to me or a search engine results page the user found my website on)?

Akin to the first question, is there a way to see the fist external page a user views once they have left my website?

Tangoman, check out the HTTP Referers (that is correctly misspelled) admin function provides. Not all browsers provide this information, though, so don't expect it to be a complete picture of the links or frequency of links to your site.

Unless a link is clicked on your site, there is no way to know what websites a visitor visits after leaving your site.

Also, if you put your version, patch, addons, etc. in your forums / Your_Account signature, you won't need to write that every time you post.

Kevin,

The advise about 'Signature' is so obvious', yet easily overlooked when my mind has been racing so fast to finish the website over the past few days...Very considerate observation from you and I will take your advise on this isse too....Makes perfect sense, as always!

I had checked the HTTP referers function when I first installed Nuke, but as that was a while ago I had forgotten about that...In any case, I was assuming it would be a part of Sentilen, not in a 'seperate part of the admin'.

I understand this may be true for the 'technology' available for the site, but I seem to recall either some hosts or 'tracking counters' do nhave the facility to advise the first external page a user visits and not necissarily by clicking a link on your website.

Thanks for everything.
