User Login Problem with Nuke 6.9

Users are not able to log into my 6.9 nukesite...they are returned to the login page with this error message:

When I log in as admin, I can log that same user into the site with no problems...

I'll mention that I the login screen is on the root of my site... [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

I searched the site for possible login problems that would apply with no success...the closest post was about a config.php fix for MySql instead of one that doesn't work...

Please advise,

Do you have the Your_Account Module set to registered members only? If so try setting it to all visitors.
