To get all the emails from a user group?
I run a game guild site and I have 200 members and I'm making up mailing lists for differant sections. What I need to do is get all their emails in a list like: [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

is there anyway I can get this info in a list like this out of the database or some way to harvest them? I'd hate to have to go through the usergroup mousing over mails and typing all of them out.

Some of the newsletter modules allow you to send email to all your members. Is that what you're trying to do?

You could also use an SQL tool like phpMyAdmin to extract the list as text or CSV.

Well the mass mail feature works ok in the forums but then I would have to do two things. 1.) make seperate user groups for a large amount of people and 2.) Give some guys admin on nuke and on the forums which I don't want to do. So what I did instead was install a seperate mail list program that I could give them access to.
This however still means that I have to come up with over 200 emails which im trying to avoid doing by hand.

Hmm i have phpmyadmin on my host but never noticed anything to export mail address into text or csv.

There isn't something specific to export email addresses in phpMyAdmin. Just use SQL to list the email addresses you want, then copy and paste or export.

I use NSN Groups to do this. You can place users into specific groups and then email to them. HOWEVER, NukeWorks is just about to release their HTML Newsletter tool which incorporates NSN Group integration so that you can send out more fancy newsletters of your liking to one of more NSN Group. Look for this to come out within 1 - 2 hours. I am just finalizing getting it added.
