this is the feeback for an installation on a sun solaris server with apache

The ioncube has been installed (with the iso file version DL from ioncube website for a sun /unix compatibility

The installation is real time mode and not by modifying the php.ini (one of the two choice for config.

The ioncube is teste with the php script install and tester.

The module is installed
The sql is executed
no trouble for executing it in admin mode but....

no caching is done on the two test block

even after changing some options for the block and refreshing the site

Snif ! Crying or Very sad

Just a question : you wrote that the cache lite package must be installed in the include directory. Ok for that but in his own directory or in the root of include ? cause you've got a subdirectory in the cache lite module with some file (function.php and output.php). So is it a lite.ph i nthe root of include with the sudir lite or is it a subdir Cache_lite in the include with the lite file and inside the subdir lite with the two others files ?

Ok We found the trouble with the sun solaris
There was another library that was in conflict with the ioncube module. This library was an old one from our dev team.

So i resume the situation

On a Sun solaris with apache web server your module is.....wonderful

There is now just the two problems you are working on

1. the icons
2. it seems that you need to modify the cache of a block before it starts caching.

But for the rest, it's a very nice module that will ease the admin work

Many thanks to you for this
Waiting the next version with a big smile and a great thanks.

Raven, I had beta 2 installed, but I re-downloaded it and re-installed, same problem. In the readme it says 7 days.

beta 2 hasn't been out for 7 days. I just released it on Wednesday. The readme has been corrected to read 14 days and I verified that that is what I compiled in. But, I recompiled it and placed it out there again. I'm wondering if you files got ftp'd correctly. In any event, try it again. The thing of it is, I am using it on my site and I haven't had any problems.

I think there may be a problem. The first paragraph of the readme ( re-downloaded again) reads
Quote:
This is the second public Beta release of my nuke Administration module for Cache Lite. This script is not free and has been encoded using Ioncube's great encoder product. This d/l will time out after 7 days.
and the releases file reads
Quote:
2004/11/10 - Beta 2 Release
- Corrected image links
- Modified folder structure

2004/11/05 - Initial Beta 1 Release

All the files are ok except that one. I had corrected it and didn't copy it. It's fixed.

I must have messed something up big time. I downloaded again this morning and I get the same error
Code:
The encoded file /home/xxx/public_html/admin/modules/rpscachelite/modules/common.php has expired.
I have deleted my cookies and files, to no avail. Should I delete everything and start all over?

Boy I can't figure that one out. If anyone else is having this problem, please speak up so that I know if it's isolated or not.

Yes, delete the admin/modules/rpscachelite.php file and the admin/modules/rpscachelite folder and reinstall.

It had to be my [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] The fourth install resolved correctly. I have 15 blocks cached, no problems. I am having some small problems on brokenpeggers, but I'm sure once I spend some time with it, everything will work. Thank you, Steve.

p.s. I am using smartFTP

ok for me too

just a trouble with the block-Sommaire from Marco. But it's a very structurated block with a lot of function so i think it's not possible to use the cache with it

all the others blocks are functionning quite good
