RN 2.52. New user Registration error

Hi

When a new (apparently only some) user tries to make an account it just says Registration error!

Cant see any errors logged related to this. Any idea where to look?

Email activation is off and Require Admin approval on

Could it be related to VPN connections?

Asger, did you already activated nukeSPAM?

Yep, nukespam is activated. Tried de-activating, but that didn't help

De-activating nukeSPAM is a bad idea because it is imporant for the registration. Which PHP version is running on your server? I will do some tests today because the same version is running fine here on RPS.

Asger, I found some issue with PHP7.4.x, which I was able to fix it. So please try to re-upload the following files from the download-package of the master-branch on Github:

Note: There are more php7.4.x issues like that on other modules, which I will push later to the github-branches.

May I assume that these changes will have no adverse affect when applied to a site running PHP7.3 ?

I have had no new user registrations since last post Sad

But i did try a test user that was not working before and now i get "caught by spamfilter" or so. You changes works somehow Smile

Guess it's because i already registered a test user from LAN/Same IP and NukeSpam is set to check username and ip. I also noticed a new input Field for reason when denying spam users. This was not there before your changes.

So looking good so far, mate Smile

Was wondering about the very old theme i use. Can that give problems? Maybe you can look around the site to see if there are problems i haven't noticed Wink

That theme is very old but I gues it is compatible with Ravennuke.

Yeah i know it's very old. I was looking around for a newer, more modern dark theme.
Seems it's hard to find newer themes for RavenNuke now a days;(
Maybe you guys have some newer dark themes fully compatible with RN 2.52?
