One Alll looks pretty nice and the free plan would work for most sites (2500 users)

But I have only played with it, and have too much going on with our next release to get into looking at integration... [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

It's something I would like to see added but is probably more likely to be introduced as an addon after our next release.

I like it ... but it needs its own. I'll play with it some Smile Thanks.

But if someone out there wants to write one that works Id probably be willing to pay them.

Its needs to offer register/login and offer admin to skip email confirmations for those types of signups.

The only other issue I can think of is userid. It could either ask (which may not be desirable) or just automaticaly create usernames based on real names and random numbers. i.e. John Doe would resolve to JohnD1721

FB, Twitter, and G+ are the ultimate goals but for now only FB is required for the project and if it were in place might find don't care about the others.

Is there anyone with some time and skill that wants to make a few extra bucks this month? As far as projects go I can't imagine this one is THAT difficult. I've had a bad english speaking indian guy offer to do it for $40 on Elance. I would rather pay a ravennuker $100 and then let the code be contributed to the core.

If no one else offers and I can find time, I will look at it and see if I can do it. I won't have any free time until around Sunday though.

Nuken I won't lie - you were the one I was thinking of when I made the post but I did not want to ask directly in case the thought was too annoying at the time I asked Smile

I, too, would like to see more flexibility for different login mechanisms within the core of RCN (yes... new name comes with new acronyms. Laughing will keep you in suspense a little bit). I am hoping that we can build a more flexible user login / authentication API that plug-ins can be built around. But, not sure it will be in release 1.0 (yes, why not also start over with the versioning with a new system)

I've found two 3rd party professional scripts that plugged into nuke - and with 1 small modification plugged into RN. (Nuke admin user is #1) Please don't change that database Wink

Which leads me to wonder will RNC even be nuke compatible?

Depends on what you mean by nuke compatible. If it runs on RN 2.51 it will run, or can be updated with a little effort, to run on the next version. There will also be an optional "compatibility layer" that can be enabled to support older code... Although the said "compatibility layer" is in it's infancy so not sure what exactly it will, or will not do for you; as of yet Smile

Well I am a bit dismayed to find that IMHO the most astounding modification that I've found for nuke ... and yapped about to this group 4 years ago was not adopted. (Blocks by module).

That single hack (I think it was like 10 modified lines) allowed for the ultimate in flexibility and allowed for the creation a single block to appear on a single page. Its the only modification I find myself again wanting to make to 2.51. I mean who wants the same blocks on all the pages of a whole site ???

As for the others ... currently there are not any nuke modules I run separate from the core. That Yahoo weather module is the only thing that appeals to me and I've probably installed 90% of the modules out there at one time or another. The sommiare menu module (was that what it was called) and msanalysis are 2 others that I recall being really good. Sadly - that's about all that jumps to my mind after 10 years of tinkering with modules.
