How to hide the left side block

On RavenNuke_v2_5 I need to hide the left side block on the theme SimpleBlue. On theme.php I have this

global $hide_blocks_left;
if (!in_array($name, $hide_blocks_left))
{
echo '<div id="sidebar1">'."\n";
blocks('l');
echo "\n".'</div>'."\n";

Please give me instructions on what do I have to change.

So you are trying to hide left blocks all the time, or just in certain modules?

just comment the whole block inside the if statement
