For some reason or other it didn't take the other update on my post, but this is something I found. The error messages went away when I put the old footer.php and header.php files in from RN 2.40.01. However, it didn't fix the issue with the Player of the Month not showing up right on the main page of my website. It shows "Player of the Month" but nothing below it. |

Another thing I found is that when I used the older version of the Player of the Month block it showed the info/ picture, but it isn'tshowing up right on the home page due to an error message. When I put the updated one back in it went back to not showing anything. So I went back with the old version and it is showing up, but I now have this error message (you can also view it on my website):
Warning: mysql_numrows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /homepages/xx/xxxxxxxx/htdocs/h3llclan/html/blocks/block-PlayerOfTheMonth.php on line 44 |

Your best bet is to let Guardian work on it. The reason the old footer.php works is that there used to be an exit(); in there. This was removed and was covering up poor coding practices used by the original author of this module.
The error in the old version is not related to the exit, but is related relying on old methods. On the other hand this module could be just that old and that was the standard at the time. |

Please don't get me wrong, I am waiting patiently and I do appreciate the time that everyone has taken with it. I was just trying to give as much info as I can; I didn't mean to come off in a bad way or anything. |

I do have a question regarding the expected behaviour of this module.
I see a routine that is accessible by normal users to 'Award Player' on the main module index page but the form is actually processed via an admin function.
Are users permitted to 'Award' a player or should this be an admin only function? |

It should be just and admin function. They way I have it set up is to have the clan members vote in the Forum and whoever is chosen, I add them. I also may be getting it mixed up with the clan roster module ribbon awards. |

I really appreciate it and I don't want to sound unappreciative, but I do have a question. How hard would it be to make the clan tag form "Clan Tag" color, font, and font size, and the same for,"for March is" where "March" is the calendar month that changes. It would just look better if it could be adjusted? I don't want to hastle you or put anything on you. I imagine it is allot more work.
I do really appreciate you fixing this module for me, it really means allot. |

You could do that with CSS and it would use far less resources. I'll add some styling elements to the main module page and a CSS file but the block file would need to be manually edited since there is no easy way to add CSS at the block level but you could probably just copy/paste the CSS from the modules stylesheet and and add it to your themes stylesheet. |

Cool, thank you very much. I might need some "how to" info on how to do it correctly, but I am sure I can cover it. Thank you again. |

Thanks for the nudge on this. Last week was a bit manic as I had a couple of website mock-ups to finish for clients nd I forgot about this
I'll have it finished today for you, one way or another.
I have added CSS styling for the module pages and also added in wysiwyg editor support for the Player of the Month 'Announcement' and 'Description' and I have also pretty much finished making it HTML 5 ready to help future proof it.
RN doesn't natively support CSS styling at the block level so I'm going to whip up something that will provide global support for styling block files - we may as well do it right after all this |

Guardian - thank you so very much! I am sure that everyone that uses it, or will use it, appreciates your hard work. All those features sound great, I look forward to trying it out. |

I am having a couple of other issues, now. One is that the edit settings area isn't saving to the database. Whenever I click update, it defaults to the original text example. Another thing is that the words are black, like I click on player of the month and it is in black, so is the same for Award Description and Hall of Fame. Is there a way to change the color? The main issue is the not saving to the database or saving when I click on update. What would cause that?
For Guardian: also when you try to open up the panel to maximize editor size, it moves everything to the left all bunched up. That really isn't a big issue if I could just get it to save. |

If you can give me till the weekend I'll take a look. Unfortunately I just don't have the time right now with a pro-bono project I'm working on going live on Friday. |
