Used to work but now fatal error

I have two sites using a file.

Now one site is OK like this [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
But the other now gives a blank page (used to work too) [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Both using RN 2.40.01 and fisubice theme.
Turned on error reporting and it said

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare getusername() (previously declared in /homepages/**/d*********/htdocs/sitefiles/maintenance.php:1223) in /homepages/**/d*********/htdocs/sitefiles/modules/GCalendar/common.inc.php on line 656

Line 1223 to 1229 is

Anyone have an idea why something used to work on both but now only works on one please? Shocked

rebelt, it would appear that the GCalendar module also has a function called "getusername". You need to rename your function and make the necessary changes.

Thank you for the fix.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know why it would work on one site but not another. I should be getting the same error surely. Shocked

If I had to guess does one site have the GCalendar or block active and the other not?

Yes. Must be a clash somewhere in the block.
