Well I am under a daily SPAM attack from Russia/Latvia/Ukraine/etc; with everything from viagra to porn.

The PITA is taking each "Registered User" Forum posting and entering the (dozens daily) IP into Sentinal "Block IP" menu. (All Forums require a registered user.

Now the good folks at Stop Forum Spam - [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] have provided a csv file with thousands of predetermined IPs to Block.

How do I take this file and upload into nuke_nsnst_blocked_ips table?

Currently using:
PHP Nuke 8.0 with Sentinal 2.6.01.
$gfx_chk = 4;
4: Both, users login and new users registration only

Regards,

I would do it at the server level if its such a huge file.

I believe this issue is because of a $global missing in PHPNuke proper but can't recall where.

But phpMyAdmin should be able to import the file if you would rather but back up first!

Ok, Yes I was assuming the upload would be at server with phpmyadmin,,, but I have no idea how to configure the upload as per the format of the csv file

Replace table data with file
Ignore duplicate rows
Fields terminated by
Fields enclosed by
Fields escaped by
Lines terminated by
Column names

When I attempt I recieved the following error:

Error
Invalid field count in CSV input on line 1.

I use bbantispam or Advanced Textual Confirmation since three years ago and it has stopped all spam in PHP-Nuke including forum (guests are allowed to post). To stop all types of spam put the installation code in config.php.

PM your email and I'll send you the sql to import the IPs.
Then let me know if there are any problems.
You did back up?

You can ban complete countries using NukeSentinel(tm) I thought. There have also been some examples here on how to how to also do it with .htaccess. I believe the example given was for Turkey.

You might want to (if you haven't) [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] it reads the IPs from csv files. The author provides monthly updates and is a mod at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

I'd really like to see something like this added to NukeSentinel since these ban lists are not in a nuked friendly format. The wrapper should be able to save tons of resources on a large site.
