My profanity filter is not working, I found one really old topic [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] and attempted to use the fix, however it still does not work. It looks like Montego applied this already anyways.

I have it set to replace anywhere in a word, but no go.

I can not reproduce this. It is working fine for me.

I tried the following, and they all work in both the title and the body.

  • myword
  • *myword
  • myword*
  • *myword*

it works fine for me in the shout box. It is just refusing to work ANYwhere under the forums =\. I jsut updated to 2.40.01, so I'm sure my files are not modded either. Any ideas on where to look with that info?

The forums and shoutbox are completely different. They each have there own list. I'm not sure what to tell you :/

Have you setup
Admin -> Forums -> General Admin -> Word Censors
????

thank you! I did not realize their were multiple places for different parts of the ravennuke site =\.
