Translation via google

Hi, didn't know where to put this question in your huge number of forums.

I want to get raven in Danish, and know i will have to do it myself. But it's a huge task, so i will prob. only translate whats seen/needed. Even that is a huge task, and made me remember a old software that took a english and danish lang. file and put define values up next to each other to make it a little easier. A super cool feature would be integrate babelfish/google translate into it, to translate whole file and then edit for bad language.

But my question in short
Is there still edit/translate programs around for phpnuke files ? with or without option to feed text to translate.google.com

does anyone have some tricks for easy translating ? else i will try this and see if its usable and make a module myself. [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

translation software has come a long way, but I'm pretty sure the only way to get a reliable translation is to find someone who is fluent in both languages Smile

(in my opinion)

you can use a text comparison program like winmerge if you want to be able to view both language files at once.

There is a reason php nuke doesnt come in every language, because it takes a very long time to translate (=expencive if u dont do it yourself)

I can ofcource write in my own language and read english, so 600+ lines for your account is just to go ahead and translate, but i do 10 or 20 and gets real bored typing. Google can handle most but specialy long senteces must be rewritten (and adjusted to more low tec. descriptions) but still easier than having to retype every word. Was only having google tanslate as "a tool" else i could just put the google language selector box on the site and let it handle all languages. (prob will anyway to support other languages if it works)

will prob. do those few hundreds of lines that are vissible on my site leaving admin and unused. But was thinking someone might have made some easy tool, allowing a full translation.
