Hi all, I got a problem where when I go to a members profile and click the option to show all their topics it basically loads a search options page and not their topics etc????
any idea`s where to start? is this probably a file issue? or database?

This is most likely related to using an old theme that has a forum template directory as I am not able to reproduce this on any of the RN core themes but without having access to the theme it is impossible to be sure.
I suspect the problem is ultimately due to some forum files being moved from /includes/ to modules/Forums/includes for better seperation of the forum files i.e. to make the forum more modular instead of having it's tentacles all over *nuke.
As phpNuke 7.9/8.0+ did something similar you would probably have a similar issue so it isn't specific to RN.
Your best bet is to either compare the theme you have with something like fisubice or move to a newer, more complinat theme.

Hi the theme was made only around 6 months ago by clan themes and one which I paid for Crying or Very sad
I`ll get in contact with them and hopefully they can update it for me.
I am using a theme on another site thats around 4 years old and works fine with this issue.
cheers

If you use one of the package themes does it work? Because I do not see how a theme itself coudl cause the problem. Usually all the data, ie links etc, are pasted to the templates from the code.

Seems a bit weird if you click on the main forum button at the top of the website so the main overall forum opens up.. then scroll down to the varius catagories and to the right where you can find any member then click on them to view their profile then click their latest posts it doesnt work...
but from the front page user info block it seems to work from their profile..

very strange

This is the problem. [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Try turning off shortlinks in rnconfig and see if it works.

P.S. Its only your clan members this happens to.

Again here, why not add the "offending" characters to the appropriate GT-*.php patterns and .htaccess rewrite rules?

If you already have content that has been crawled, shutting off ShortLinks will now cause the non-shortened links to be crawled too... duplicate content.

Hi I havnt shut of the short links, I decided to keep it running as you say it would not be a good idea. I have posted a reply on the other thread asking if you could let me know how to add the " | " in the htaccess and GT etc....
thanks again
