Just found the time to install the newest version and got a blank page:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')', expecting '(' in /www/xxx/admin/modules/nukesentinel/ABDBDownloadCompress.php on line 16

So is there an error that Bob needs to address?

Not sure it was designed that way. There ia a blank page or a page with a parse error on line 16 using config error is true and of course there is also no other message e.g. download completed or something like that. Afterthat you need to use the back button of the browser to go back.
So its a bit strange behavior.
But it creates SQL backups and thats great because I thought it wouldn´t be possible on my server.

It is also possible that the script either ran out of time or ran out of memory. Its a new feature and may need more time to work all the kinks out as different setups can cause different issues.

I am thinking that he may want/need to add a switch where folks can shut of the compression step if their environment / setup will not support it.
