Hiya

I installed Shout_Box_v8.5.2 all is fine except my shouts are not transfering to the block.

I cannot find window.onload unless im blind. I installed Shout ages ago and initially had this problem but cant for the life of me remember how I fixed it.

Anyone who is willing to help me fix this I'd be greatly apreciative.

Thanks, Cheeky

The shouts aren't transferring to the block? What does that mean?

And why are you trying to find window.onload? Do you have more than one Javascript type scrolling block on your site? It is in shoutbox.js, which should be in the root of your nuke directory.

Everything seems to working fine. Shouts do record, block appears on main page, the block just doesnt display the shouts.

The install notes say that if I have more than one javascirpt running, open mobules and blocks and look for window.onload. I have NO idea if javascripts are running, as i barely know much about nuke or php as it is, so I went thru the files looking for window.onload anywhere and couldnt find nowt or im just blind lol

Yes, shoutbox.js is in my root directory.

Ah, you mean the block doesn't scroll? Are you using RavenNuke or some other PHP-Nuke? If you are using RavenNuke 2.10.x then there was a problem with shout box scrolling under it. A fix was discussed in another thread.

That's great...the reason I didn't mention it right away is that you posted in the PHP-Nuke 7.6 forum, so I assumed you were using standard PHP-Nuke, not RavenNuke. Smile

Is there any chance anyone has a copy of this? [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] works off of a point system for downloads, which upon initial registration, no one has any. Would anyone be so kind as to share a copy of the fix por favor?
