I'm new to nuke... but have been learing a LOT the last week. Smile Just a couple of questions...

How do I assign users as Admins for the forums? Is it done in:

a) Nuke > Admin > Forums > User Admin > Ranks? (forum admin)
Nuke > Admin > Forums > User Admin > Management

b) Nuke > Admin > Edit Groups (nuke admin)

In the forum admin I have set myself to: Site Admin (OzButcher)
With this user though... when in the forums I show up green (as moderator) instead of Yellow (for admins). Also I can not make posts sticky.

I changed it manually in my sqldatabase. member level was set to 3. why is that?

and what do the levels mean... is 1 higher? I am now showing as admin in the colour index... but still no options to sticky posts.

Administrator should have sticky options, weird.

Your user user_level should be 2. 1 is for normal users. 3 is for moderators.

okay I changed myself to level 2 and my other admin too, we now show up as admins. why doesn't this work internally without having to get into myphpadmin?

I tried to change a few more users to user_level 2 and they show up as a admin, but when try click on the link at the bottom of the page "Go to Administration Panel" they get a error. Is this because the admin is a nukeadmin feature?

Admin may be tied to the Nuke admin and Nuke user accounts. A double security check.
