Raven and anyone else in the know,

I can't make my mind up whether to go for 6.9 or 70.

I have 2 sites I wish to set up and they are commerical shopping sites.

What is the safest way forward?, considering that there may be forks on PHPNuke development. I'm really tempted to give version 7.0 a try, with the new OSC2Nuke module, that way I don't have to rely on OSC2Nuke for everything. However, I've been reading about this possible fork of yours on 6.9 and it might be nice to keep my options open, hedge my bets if you will.

Cheers,

DTR.

DTR,

Just for clarification, mine will NOT be a fork. You'd have to read the whole thread to get the picture in case you haven't. That aside, I would use the 7.1 from my download area, which already has the latest security patch applied.

Oppss...sorry, I think I'm going senile at the tender age of 33. I could not even find the thread. I read it about 2 nights ago and when I came back could not find it. Mind you I must admit, I was lazy, I should have typed the word "fork" in the search.

Ah speaking of search. I found a buggette which I find useful for my own selfish ends.

I have noticed that when one amends posts, the search index does not get updated. It's quite useful to know on heated discussion boards, when people change more than their spelling mistakes. Nice, but it should be sorted. I'll report it on Bugzilla, but it's just a FYI thing.

Thanks Raven.
