TRI-Dev Profile module problems after upgrade to 7.6

I've been using this profiles module for a few months now and I love it.

Unfortunately when I updated to PHPNuke Platinum the /admin/modules/profiles.php file doesn't work properly. Before it would show up any pending modules and a number of admin functions, now it just shows the details of the 'Module Configuration Settings'

I need to be able to approve profile submissions, and edit them if needed.
The site listed as the author's contact is down. Has anyone else fixed this problem? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

I take that as a no. Ok... in that case.

Does anyone know of a module in which people can upload an image and write a short bio that would act as a profile. I need it to be like the Tri-Dev module which had admin-defined categories eg. country, state etc.

Willing to paypal some 'thank you' dollars for a fully working profiles module!

I could adapt the tri-dev module if you send it to me along with a sample admin file from Platinum, i.e. admin/modules/modules.php
