FTP problem with 76_v2.02.02_FULL

While I was transfering the files it automatically stoped. It created a file called .pureftpd-upload.452d1729.15.169f.5aa1f50f wiht 0 bytes. It also does it in other folders after I continued to upload again. Why did this happen? will it affect my installation process.

pureftpd is the FTP server deamon on your server, it is creating those files, the files in themselves would not be a problem as long as all the files are uploded, but it is strange it would be creating so many of those files. I have pureftp on my server and I have never had it create a file like that.

Why it is doing it I don't know, its not a Nuke problem it would be your server, you may want to try a diffrent ftp client program, or ask your host about it.

Download another ftp program and try it, I use filezilla its free and works well.

as i understand these files are temporary and will delete themselfs after time.
and if not try to delete it by by cpanel/file manager ,otherwise ask your host...
