So I removed the url field and viola there is the module......

Now my next question is, banners are still showing from the old mod ...

Did you check to see if it is activated in the module admin? I don't believe it is visible until it is turned on and default install is turned off.

What happened is I download the social bookmarking mod from nukeseo and the news file that they already had wrote to replace the original news module eliminated ...
