The last few days I feel like contributing to the phpNuke community :)

Now you have the module and the block, which I use in Truden Web Site for News comments.
The module shows last 30 comments in the News section and all the comments in the language section.
The block can be used without installing the module and shows the last five comments (the number can be changed)

You can download the ZIP file from HERE

Best luck!

P.S. You don't need my permission to have the file in your Download section, to change it, to develop it, to do what ever you want to do with it.
IT IS YOURS!

That applys to all the works signed by me - Truden.

Sorry guys, but in the ZIP file I've put my old comment block.

The one that I use takes you to the exact comment (not to the article)

If you would like that better, pleas download the ZIP file again.

The news section in Php Nuke particularly the comments are often the playground for spammers.
There are different strategies to stop spam entries.
I like your method and the new block works :)
It´s a very useful hack to prevent spam in articles/comments from Anonymus.

Highly recommendable !

I don't remember including the new comments.php in this module, Susann, but you know me...

I'm sill waiting for you to approve the test of the hack and then I'll release it.

Must I take your comment as approve ;-)

Well, if there is a newer comment.php out let me know.
I believe I use the newest.
I already told you my problem I´ve found with the number of deleted comments but like you said its another issue and has nothing to do with this hack.
I hope so, because I can´t find out the reason of this behavior and such a problem was never reported here.
At the moment I don´t have the time to try this hack with another nuke version. But it would be interesting.

Yes, you use the newest comment.php, but it is not in this module. It is in modules/News.

I'll release it tonight.

The problem with comment delete comes from admin/comments.php I believe.
(Updating _stories table for deleted sub comments, when root comment is deleted.)
