Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone. Western Studios has released it's christmas theme. It is highly detailed with a matching forum. This type of theme is different from most phpnuke theme as it is WC3 HTML4.01 compliant and also WC3 CSS compliant. This is the road we are taking for the release of all our future themes. You can view the theme from the links below.

I am not attacking anyone on this subject. I am simply asking a question. So, please keep that in mind. My question is this.
How do we know that this theme is actually valid? I ran the test url, showing this theme, in the validator. It failed. Is there some other sort of proof that will show that this is in fact a validiated theme? I would be interested in finding out. Thanks

oops, he is the link.

with this being a paid theme I would think that it would be good to offer up the proof that this is a valid theme. That way people will be more apt to pay for it. Also, is this theme all done in a theme.php file or with external html files as well. Thanks in advance.

hi, it's no attack. Check the two errors closely "themeshop.jpg". Both errors involve that image. Look at the site again. Where is that image? Well not to make you have to search forever, it's actually the link that has nothing to do with the theme. Here is the full link..

Now look at the site again and see where that image is. I don't mean to be a pain but when I say it is w3c html compliant. I mean it...............

Actually, one of the error has to do with the google rank block.

I am glad that you replied. I am sure that some people, who contacted me, were unsure of the fact that the theme would pass verified. It is so hard, almost impossible to make/keep a nuke site compliant. Our content changes so often, we use third party items, etc. I hope that people will understand that ,I like you am a theme designer, and the theme is only a portion of the issue with compliance. A theme alone wont let your site pass validated lol. The effort is great though on your part! Thanks!

np :) Everytime I convert a theme to html compliancy for clients, I have to constantly remind them that the theme will be compliant but they have to work on their nuke portal before it will pass as valid. I have a test site that I have modified to be html compliant so I usually let them see that it does pass validation. I made the changes to the site so as you can see it now passes.
