KISGB - Patch To Prevent Empty Posts More about

It has been discovered that some Google Links to KISGB :), will sometimes bypass the built in logic to keep empty messages from getting posted, through the method in which the links are formatted. This is in no way a security issue but is a major annoyance. I have issued a patch to fix this. The patch is not a replacement file, but replacement code that you must type in. The reason I did it this way is because there are still 100's of users using an older release of KISGB and I didn't want to have to issue several patch files. I have updated all of the downloads also.

Real-Time Stats Update More about

Posted on Saturday, October 04, 2003 @ 15:04:36 CDT in Blocks
by Raven

User Elderberry was not able to run the Real-Time stats application. This was the first I had heard of this, as I, as well as many others, have been using it since inception! Anyway, his persistence in wanting to use it paid off and he discovered a tweak was needed to make it work right for him. Even if your site is working fine, I would recommend getting this update, because the code needs to be as it is now.

tEA-TiME writes "I have started to develop a project for the PHP and Nuke communities in general for a PHP Passport. This will (hopefully) work very much like the Microsoft Passport (except it won't expose all your financial data). Basically, a service that a person can register with (for free), and then PHPNuke and other PHP sites which use the service (also free) can share that common passport user database. This mean no more having eight million user names / password combos for all the different sites, as well as not having to fill in all the info everytime. Please send me an email to tEA-TiME if you would like to be involved. Read More...

Warning: get_lang ... failed to open stream: Error More about

by Raven

I think I may have fixed this long lasting, irritating bug!

Warning: get_lang(modules/MODULE_NAME/language/lang-english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/SOMEDIR/public_html/mainfile.php on line xxx

If I am correct, there has been some buggy code since at least v6.5. See this post for my proposed solution.
