more and more Amazon-web-services modules for PHPNuke avaliable: besides the NukeAmazon-Module (of preciogasolina.com) and the Amazonia-Gallery we have got another great PHP-Nuke & osc2nuke-module - Amazon-Product-Store-module (demo)

the developers from Newbiehangout.comrecently created the Amazon-Product-Store-module (demo) for PHP-Nuke.

"We've just created a module using MrRat (MrRat.com) developement
for Amazon-product-feeds (full description here) to create the Amazon Store module which allows you to have a complete Amazon Store within your PHP Nuke site. The module is completely customizable using the inclosed style sheet."

Description: "This module is a customizable module to allow you to place a complete Amazon Store on your site using a script created by Mr Rat of Installation is simple and does not affect your database. You must be able to run cgi scripts on your server to use it."

BTW: the Amazon-module is a great Dual-Use-Thingy - running in PHPNuke as well as in NukeCommerce and osc2nuke. Let us celebrate this dual-use-innovation that integrates a global brain - and puts together the power of more than 100000 users: synergy at work!

Approve_Membership6.1.1-7.6 available for all Nukers on the whole planet - very good news on ulsoft.scarbridge.co.uk the developersite of the great Approve membership module. The module was enhanced

the develper [23.March 2005]: "Many thanks to Daniel Chinen for reporting two bugs in Approve_Membership6.1-7.6. Bug 1 resulted in the users registration date not being stored in some instances.
Bug 2 resulted in an inc0rrect display of row numbers in the Members List. Both these bugs have been fixed in Approve_Membership6.1.1-7.6. Existing users of Approve_Membership 6.1-7.6 should replace their existing modules/Your_Account/index.php and modules/Members_List/index.php with those contained in Approve_Membership6.1.1-7.6"

A Hosting And Reseller's Nightmare! More about

Jaded writes: Hello, I just want to take a moment to inform you all of a couple of companies to stay away from. I will include a very large thread on the most respected hosting site around to confirm my statements. It may take a while for you to read but the reading is an eye opener.

I would start out saying that I have had my hosting company with www.dinix.com for over a year. They were listed amoung the top hosting companies on all the forums I researched. They had excellent tech and customer support, fantastic uptime and speed. We were very happy!

Then about 6 months ago they merged with another company. I was worried about the transition but assured that things would move smoothly. They actually did. We did notice a change however in the support and speeds as well as a few times that they encountered "networking" errors and we were offilne for a short time. I was becoming less enchanted at that time but decided to stick with them. Read DO NOT USE DINIX OR WEBHOSTPLUS!!!!!
