ToolBox writes:
One of weak points which plain PHP-Nuke has is user manager. As an administrator, we need more flexible and functional user management options. PHP-Nuke's user manager provides you with only three management functions: modiy, edit, and add an user at a time.
NukeKorea Dev. Network has been trying to add more functionalities such as "delete multiples of selected users, more graphical GUIs, remove all users at a time, more information about users, view methods, page-per views, etc."

New users are unable to register on the site to be able to download. The Your_Account page loads blank when trying to log in.

This is like the third site today that has posted news about a download they have that ends up being unavailable. Seems like "professional" sites would be aware of these issues before posting news that ends up being useless when new and existing users cannot access these new items.

Big Brother ist watching you? Private Messages should be private. It is nessessary for nowbody to know the private correspondence of users.
It is in the hands of a webmaster to be friendly and helpfull - not to be a spy of the users private letters. nowbody needs something like this ..

looking at PMs are up to admins. That means, when you install the hack, you have an option not to install one part that enables you to look at PMs.

Sorry - Im glad to have the option, not to install the Advanced User Manager ;-)

It breaks a rule that all the community all over the years did retain - look around - I did never found a feature like PM-spying.

I wonder that your announce with this feature is online here on this honorable website.

Well, as long as the user agreement points out that you are using this feature it is not illegal. Also...for sites that have minors, sometimes a feature like this can be useful to protect them from some of the sicko's that prey on children.

This feature break an unwritten internet rule. Other CMS and forums system encrypt the private messages - and PHP-Nuke?

Aha - and everybody who do not use this feature do not protect children - I think it is better to use other methods to protect children.

Yes. some of forums follow encrypted methods. This hack will give you an alternative to decide to install PM insepction part. It's totally up to site administators.

good discussion. This kind of feedback will let me determine which options must be dropped. Very good comments. There are good cons and pros for this issue.

Hm... you, regs, don't seem to be optimistic. Even though this hack has many options and it provides you with such option of whether or not admins install PM parts, it still sounds like "gruntling about it."
That is just an option out of many options. And, I don't understand why you are trying to relate this hack to RavenPhpScripts.com ? If you don't like PM part, then don't install PM parts. Does this violate your moral criterion? Geezz... That's all. I think this is not arguable things.
Who will develop hacks and modules unless a few like you, regs, are optimisitc?

Just for the record, phpbb has had this mod around for a long time. This is nothing new and it is certainly an admin/site option. Since admin's/owner's can be held legally liable for the content stored on their servers, they legally have a right to read all/some/none of the material stored. I am not arguing for/against said options. We just need to keep this in its proper perspective and not get accusatory towards the reputation of this site or any other that offers code that is purely optional to being installed and/or used.

I totally have no idea about countries. Installers (admin) may skip that kind of options (looking at PM). If so, no disputation about it, simply.
