I updated to the newest FF version 3.0.9 today and whenever I try to check the source code of a webpage FF crash
Anyone noticed the same behavior ? |

Whenever I have experienced that kind of behavior I have always found it to be the result of one or more extensions. So, I deactivate all extensions and then add them back one by one to try to find the conflict. You might also try reinstalling FF after clearing your cache and cookies. |

I just installed 3.0.9 and it's crashing on me. I thought I already had .9 when I answered your initial post but I was still on .8! Unless you found an answer we are at the mercy of the development team <grrrr> |

I use this too often too wait and/or disable
if you disable "highlight lines with errors" in
add-ons->html validator->options it will work again  |

With later Firefox I had problems with Firebug. Memory leaks and crashes. Windows XP. |

No, it's all platforms. But, only if you're using the FF HTML Tidy extension. Read the links above to get the whole picture. The author of the HTML Tidy extension has released an emergency fix that doesn't really fix the FF issue, ie the Browser DOM. But, his fix release disables the line highlighter option which is what you can do manually. |

3.0.10 is out... I'm still on vacation so don't have my computer with this extension. Just wondering if its now fixed since the fix came out so quickly? |
