Standalone version of Nuke Sentinel

Hi

Will there ever be a standalone version of Nuke Sentinel?

Something that could be installed into the root of a website?

Doubtful because some of it's more important functionality relies on processing POST and GET superglobals.
There are however alternatives.

What are people using?

There are a lot of scripts out there that install off the root that of course do not come with Nuke Sentinel protecting them.

Mod_Security could be of some use as it is at the overall Apache level, so protects every virtual host being run by Apache. There are good rule sets also around which cover many different systems and, of course, will even protect against some more generalized attack vectors.

But, outside of that... not sure.

There are other scripts designed for similar purposes, but these would obviously not have the integration that Nuke Sentinel has.
