I uploaded all of the Nuke Sentinel 2.5.13 files to my website and when I tried logging in at the admin.php page I got a popup for a login so I tried putting my login info in.

That didn't work so I went on and edited the core files, and uploaded all of those to my site.

Now my website won't load at all, and I can't even get into it with my FTP program. What is going on??

Sentinel wouldn't be able to block your FTP access, or your web control panel. One way or another, you'll need to get access to your .htaccess file and remove your IP (if Sentinel added it there...). Use phpMyAdmin to unlock your IP from {$prefix_nsnst}_blocked_ips. Flush your browser cache and cookies. Load up the file where you included sentinel.php and remove it or comment it out. Reload the site and start from square one.

Both my FTP and Control Panel are down....they time out when the page is loading. I do have phpMyAdmin, but the link is in my CP...

I didn't change the .htaccess file, it is still sample.htaccess, along with all the other "sample" files. They are still all 644 for permissions too....

Sounds like a hosting problem, Sentinel would not affect your FTP or control panel access

Please talk to your host to get this fixed

Ok I went to another computer and I can get into my site there, but I still get a popup for login when I go to the admin page.

I enter my login details and I can't login with them. Why is it locking me out of there?

Scratch that....I just FTP'd in and I noticed I also had the .htaccess from a previous upload still in there with 666 permissions. I deleted that and I no longer get the popup when I log in.

Ok why isn't my access working? I chmoded the .htaccess, .staccess, and .ftaccess to 666, and got rid of the sample right after I setup my username in the Sentinel module menu.

I did get most of Sentinel working BTW, except that last part. When I was in my admin panel I was prompted for my username and password, but I entered it, and Sentinel didn't like it.

I noticed I didn't have the .htaccess file completely setup. In the .htaccess file on the 21st line or so is the path to .stacess relative or absolute?

I believe it is absolute.
