Can't add new topic

moved my site a few days ago and now I cannot add new topics.. don't see any errors.. Go through the motion os filling in the topic and picking the image when I clikc add topic comes back to the topics admin page and no new topic..

did you turned on ..display errors..in your config to see if that shows any errors ?

I thought it was 7.6 have always added modules and so on using that thought..
I have looked at the 8.0 config.php and see where it is there.. I do not have it..

well that means you dont have a updated patched nuke...
are you sure that all went fine moving your site?
Can you edit a topic ?

yep changed plastics news to plastic news and worked fine.. I also changed obe of the topics to the new one I wanted and changed the image.. Is there somewhere that stats how many topics I can have ?
Seems wierd I can modify a topic but can't add one

mmm, i saw something like this long ago but cant imagine you have the same...
i think you have to dive into your nuke tabes....
think something is stuck...

since you have a backup...try to delete your last added news...
then try to publish 1 again...
if that fails,delete all news and add 1 story...
see what happens..

I don't have problems posting news just setting up a new topic.. in the admin section.. news works fine.. posting and editing..

I thought on what you said and I am doing a full upgrade to 8.0.0.3 .. Everything seems fine to date except as would have it I cannot post stories... Can post in the forums have had users login to the test site and everything seems fine to date except the topics/news section ..
any idea what error I would be looking for in the database >?

but why upgrade to 8.0 ?
why not ravennuke ?
with 8.0 things can only get worse.

okay first error I get is with sentinal ...
says I should add if ($forum_admin == 1) {

to mainfile.php but when I do things go all white.. nothing loads..

I did turn them on this time and thats the error I get.. I did read but a little confusing in some parts.. I seem to have most of it working fine as I was using 7.5 or 7.6 before so was easy to make the change. Still get the same error with sentinal though. I did not use the complete setup as it over writes the database I have when using it which seems weird. Still working on things atm.

okay turned everything on in rnconfig.php to see what is happening .. this is what I see at the top of the page

okay it comes with upgrade scripts for bbtonuke and also has in that folder upgrade for v2.02.02 Patch . I downloaded v2.10.00 ..

i do have a feeling your just doing something but dont realy know what...
updating your site isnt that easy,not if you want it all to work...
