Ahh ok. I thought it forced users to pick a more secure password. Using it just as a reference is ok.

That's why technocrat suggested flexibility and not requiring it. That way, it's more a service to someone registering.

Personally I think, unless it's an Admin or Super User account, who cares about the strength and/or complexity of their passwords?!

What am I missing here? Why force everybody to have Enterprise quality passwords? What's the benefit that would outweigh frustrating your users and possibly making them go somewhere else?

Actually, u r right !!!

I think this mod wud not be much useful !!!

this wud be better for admin only !!!

Thnx !!!

Actually, I originally thought that it forced users to choose a more secure password. Those were my thoughts on that and I didn't see any benefit for normal users. Like I said, who cares about their passwords. The website is not at risk if their account gets hacked.

I was wrong though, this apparently doesn't force them. It's just used as a reference and I think the fact that this makes them think about the security of their passwords may be a good thing overall.

I dunno. I'm running CNBYA anyway. Rolling Eyes
