Hi all long time since here, reinstalling this for Xamp.

Came across this problem on the check server enviroment. (cant add a picture)

anyways i get error with
GD graphics support Unavailable
- Freetype support Unavailable

how to fix:-

open XAMPP control panel stop apache /MySQL
click Apache config select PHP(php.ini)
ctrl + F , so search for extension=fileinfo
you should see a line like ;extension=gd under neath
just remove ; and save it
and restart
Your XAMPP now has GD enable

that how i found the fix as i was getting Errors in the install to do with Countires fail around line 455 i get this of STEP 1.

going to Step 2. produces another Error around 355 all to do with countries

Any help on this would be fantastic. sorry if in wrong forum

Works locally fine with WampServer and php7.4 on Windows or MAMP on macOS. Did you tried it?

not yet, but i`ll do it that way tomorrow. i do have way back in 2000s BackUps so i`m going through a hole load of old HDD and DvDs lol. a Gazzilion files and folders.

Well got it setup now, abit of faffing, as i`ve never used it before only Xampp, it`s late so i`ll leave it till the morning. thanks alot.
