cannot directly access this file

I am sorry to ask, but I am not with the church where I had been keeping up their site and the person that Is trying to stay up with everything Is having a problem that I cannot figure out why and wanted to ask here.

when they go to login as admin /admin.php the header shows and just under the header is all white with small words at the right saying that you cannot directly access this file.
so as of right now nobody can login as admin or god mode.

any suggestions, recomendations, ideas that would keep from a complete rebuild would be so much help.

Did the server just upgrade its php version? You might want to turn on error reporting and see if any errors are being generated. Also, check any new blocks or modules that have been added recently
