Step 5

neralex, it worked this time.

This is how the User Application looks:

If ---------- ---------- ---------- never ---------- or ---------- your ----------
PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER.
The site Administrator will review your application and send you an activation link if you are approved.

New User Registration

I may have to use one color instead of two and delete $text2. This will give me one line of text and one color.

It was much easier for me using the language file, and it looked better.

Thank you.

Step 6A

DONE!

Before:
echo '<p class="thick"><span style="color:#0000FF;">'. $text1 . '</span><br /><span style="color:#FF0000;">'. $text2 . '</span><br />' . _WAITAPPROVAL . '</p>';

After:
echo '<p class="thick"><span style="color:#0000FF;">'. $text1 . '</span><span style="color:#FF0000;">'. $text2 . '</span><br />' . _WAITAPPROVAL . '</p>';

I have one more post for this thread. I will try to change it myself first. If I back track all replies here, I might succeed.

If I set Require Admin Approval to No.
User Application looks like this:

You will receive a confirmation email with a link to a page you should visit to activate your account.

Please disregard the latter part of my last reply.

I don’t see this happening in the near future:

At this time, there is no way users will be able to register without an admin approval.

Thanks again.

I have tried to help in all what do you want. If you want more, then try to understand the html and php scripts. If you understand the scripts, then you found a solution for all if you want. Its an open source cms. You can do it with the scripts, what do you want. But more as i have written ist not possible, you must try to understand it.

neralex,
you helped me greatly and patiently. Everything is just the way I want it.

I changed my mind about making it possible for visitors to register without an administrator approval.
In the ACP, I will keep Registration Require Admin Approval set to Yes.

I don’t see visitors registering without approval. Now or in the near future.
You did a good job helping me with Registration Require Admin Approval on the User Application page.

Thank you. Smile
