Is there a way to insert an image in the content module and then have below it a link that says click to enlarge.
When someone clicks on it I want it to open a new second window with the full size image in it.
I almost understand the proccess of adding javascript in the includes directory (including it) and then recoding the content module, or trying to embed html/javascript into the content of the content module to accomplish this. With time I might be able to do it.... But that includes javascript in everything, and it means I have to maintain it through all upgrades.
I was hoping someone might know an easier way.
Is there an html/css solution to this problem that would not require me to use javascript? One that I could embedd totally into the content of the content module and then not have to maintain through subsuquent upgrades.
Please be as presise as possible. I'm not familiar with any html/CSS solution. So I'm sure I won't understand what your saying right off.
Thanks,

Although I was hoping for a solution other than javascript, I did try it.
I spent a couple hours on it, I just wasent able to get it to work for me.
The link was not opening in a new window, it was opening in the same window, and I wasent able to get the FCK editor to save the html the way I was typing it in...
*shrugs*
Thanks for the suggestion though.

I found a solution that seems to work.
Code:<center><img height="346" alt="Five of Pentacles" width="200" align="middle" border="0" src="/images/tarot/P-V.jpg" /></center><center><a href="javascript:void(window.open('http://www.psy-center.com/images/tarot/lgP-V.jpg','Large','resizable=no,location=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,status=no,toolbar=no,fullscreen=no,dependent=no,width=311,height=538'))">Click here to enlarge image</a></center>

You can see what it does here:

I don't know if it's a good idea or not. But it appears to work on at IE at least.. |

I know this is old...but I found it searching for an answer to my own question.
But why not use the TARGET="_BLANK" html command to open the href in a new window??? |

That is what I would have done as well when reading this. However, he did say that he was not familiar with html/css etc. I guess he found his own solution. It does work but might have been better to just make the image clickable to a full size. At any rate, I'm glad you pointed out the date on this mad, I never looked lol! |
