Avatar Problems - Not displaying gallery under forums, etc.

There is a gallery present under the normal your account for 6.9, but when going to forums, profile, the gallery images aren't there and when I upload one from my machine I get this.

The permissions error is just that - permissions. You need to modify the permissions for the following folders to 777, but not their contents

Just wanted to post a followup to a previous post.

For avatars not showing up in the gallery, I ran the sql script that you had suggested, it fixed some but broke some others. This condition is needed to the sql script.

where user_avatar_type not = 2

2 is for avatars that are referenced to an external site.

I am adding the comment here cause I noticed that that thread is locked.
Perhaps you can update the information.
