Im running 7.6 platinum with the 4.4.0 b2 ver of CNB YA.

In the create user field there are options(in the drop down box) to delete or deactivate.

What im hoping to do is remove some items ( like icq, aol, msn) fields but im unsure I can do this through YA admin (create user field) or do i have to manually edit some files.

If so, how do I go about this and where is the list of _???? for the ID field names.

Many thanks in advance

Just a thought - you could remove the references from the code - so they never show up on the screen, without actually messing with the database schema. That way you wouldn't have to touch any of the create, update, or delete statements.. that data would just never be entered at all.

In the upcoming release of CNBYA 5.0.0 all user options are configured to be enabled or disabled by the admin. Smile

You can use a different type of field - tinytext I think gives you more.. but no gurantees, I am completely drained this evening. I should NOT be using the computer.

well all i can tell you is that you cant do that kind of changes if you are new to php.
it require some small changes in php coding

as i can remeber you should find file "edituser.php" in inc folder i think of your account module and do some changes. simply back up that file, and check i out well. if you find something what you dont like, simply put // in front of code line...

im to tired now to check it out Smile
