Can't access the forum control panel

Help! Every time I try to access the forum control panel I get this message:

did you chmodded anything in the forums?
any htaccess file in that folder...

well ...why you touched it?
Anyway..set the folder forums to 755
and take any htaccess file out..
You dont have to chmod anything...

Ok, now its gotten rid of the message, but when I try to go to the control panel, I just get a white screen.

EDIT: I've set up a test nuke site, and I get the same thing with the forum control panel.

well then you have a mixed nuke folder with incompatible files mixed.
here at ravens you can download full 7.6 patched 3.0 or so..
start there...
