Hello,
Let me see how i can say this right in here,
on my site www.rjrcams.com i have my Stories Number in Home: in prefs, set to 10 i tired 5 but still didnt work what is happening is on each side for the blocks under the last ones it leaving empty spaces then the story/articles go past them and the only way i can stop that is delete the last post so it dont look so empty if you know i mean? sorry this is best way for me to discribe it or u can see on my site if i add another article it will stretch. Thanks hope someone can help me out

Try other themes and see if it's happening on all themes or if it is theme related.

hmmm maybe you still dont know what i am talking about? see on your main page how your middle goes way past your blocks on left and right hand sides? i dont want mine doing that just stopping at the last blocks or near it so it dont go past them when i post new articles i want it to have like a arrow down there to old ones like next page so only certain ammount stays on front without me having to delete old ones. I know this hard to explain or understand lol

I understand what you are talking about. Smile You can set the number of news stories displayed in the home page to whatever you want, but you also will need to go to the ACP Preferences and find the following:

Let users change News number in Home?

Set it to no and your problem should be solved. Smile

OK i set it to NO and Stories Number in Home:10 is what i have it set to so now when i post articles will it have the arrow at bottom so older articles or will i still have to delete the last bottom one?

It should have the arrow at the bottom to view the next sequential articles

ok i posted one but it still stretched it so i set the Stories Number in Home:10 to 5 but its not showing arrows to last article?

weird...course I use Forum News Advanced instead of the stock News module. It has been so long since I used the stock that I am just not 100% positive about how it show display

Well i just activated the Old Articles Block that should be fine

Thanks for you help Smile i think activated that block will be fine then i wont have to keep deleting them lol
