Hi Raven and everyone else,

I've this problem that seems to occure for quite some people but after 2 days of searching for a solution i still am on a loss. Searched every forum database that i knew of and still nothing.

My actual nuke config is pretty much the following:

Php 4.3.11
mysql 4.0.21
platinum nuke 7.6 not patched (atleast i dont think so, it's original pnp 7.6 version)
and phpbb seem to be 2.11

Now for some reason, every feature of the forum admin panel works just fine except for the "Group Admin" PERMISSIONS and the "User Admin" PERMISSIONS.

Whenever i click on "permissions" it loads the first content page where i can either choose an existing group from a dropdown box or in the users case, input a username in a textfield to lookup.

When i have made my choice of group or entered a username to look up, everytime i click on the "look up group" button or "lookup user" button, it returns me a blank page on the right leaving only the left admin panel open.
I'm not able to change permissions whatsoever since i can't reach these pages.
i believe all the general settings for the board are set properly.

Now i have tried several fixes but had no luck so far.
I'd appreciate some help as it seems quite some people encounter this prob and r unable to resolve it.

If i'm not able to fix this i'll definatly will go back to ipb forums.
This phpbb is a nice feature for phpnuke but i personally think it's not stable enough imo. None the less, yes i'm a noob Wink

Make a full backup of you current files and database tables then load the following into your site, edit the included config.php using yours as an example and run the upgrade.php file by pointing your browser to it:

I thank u for the help Chatserv, but by now i am reuploading my old files without the upgrade and gonna deactivate the phpbb forums and most likely gonna use an ipb board?
I'm sorry for the trouble but i think it will be for the best.
I had customised few modules on my site and by using this upgrade i would have had to redo the changes all over again which was very timeconsuming for me.
anyway it didnt worked out.
Hopefully my old nuke will work properly once it's uploaded :s

BTW i cant imagine techgfx didnt provided a better solution as an update but to overwrite all old files.
Imagine u have customized half the modules and such and then for each update u have to recustomise ur files. thats just crazy. Must be me but....

Also i believe my issue must be a simple change in a few lines of code because everything else works just fine exept for that permissions issue.
maybe the link between the admin panel and the permission authoring pages is false and thats why i'm getting a blank page, i don't know really.
if i knew where to look and how it should be corrected that would be great.

By now my site is back up with old files and seem to work properly i still have to figure out if the changes made in the database will conflict but i doubt it as it where minor changes.
