I am looking for a News of the day, or Story of the day Module, Block or something similar to [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] on their main page..

Any ideas?

Can you program a block and HTML? If so, this would be really easy to do. Just create a standard block and create the html w/i the block or you could even store the HTML in a separate file and "include" it in your block. Then place the block in Center Up mode. That should take care of it.
