I added a block to my site with a small list of updates I have done, so return visitors can see what has changed. In the block are the links taking you directly to that page/module/etc. Should I be concerned with anyone messing with my site through this block?

Thanks

PS The block is nothing fancy, I have to manually add the pages that were updated to the list.

Usually the things to check for are variables that go directly into sql queries. If your concerned about a particular block I'm sure one of us would take a look at it. The thing with blocks like that are since they aren't in the distro its less likely an exploit would be publicized even it it exists.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving something open. Been Hacked once and that was enough. Wink

I have the same concerns with Raven's scrolling forum block.

I dont want people going into my mods and admins forums, but I dont know how to secure it.

They still shouldn't be able to access those even if it is showing those is it? The forums permissions should take over when they click a link to a closed access area.

But if they are showing you should go back to the thread where Raven discussed this. If ya still can't sort it out I'll try and get a look at it. Is this the center block like here?
