ERROR: Email address already registered

I'm trying to change an email account for a registered user. However, no matter what email adsress I try to change to I get an error when clicking the "re-activation" link in the email sent to the new email account.

ERROR: Email address already registered

I've checked and re-checked and no matter what email I try to change to, I get that Error.

Is this the issue that you have maybe ?

Yup, that worked.
