Not really an issue

This is more of a want then anything else but not sure how to go about getting the results i want. I want a page for folks to go to grab banners available to show for my site. Either by grabbing the banners by left clicking or by using code provided under the banner. Is this available already or can it be done easily ? <--- I know "anything is possible" But i am the least prepared guy to do something like this from the ground up.

Any help at all would be just excellent.

The function ads() in mainfile might provide a starting point for what you want to do. But you'd probably need to embed that in a new block and modify it to pick up all the active ads and then display them sequentially in the block. You might also need to make that a center block in order to display them properly without a lot of wrapping.

Ads can be html code or html code with an image inside and a link or just an image or a flash image. So you need to deal with all of that. I'd get familiar with the structure of the banners table first and look at that and how it interoperates with the ads() function in mainfile and go from there. I don't know of any off the shelf solution, though others here may. There is also a block-advertising that you might start off using, but you'd want to rename it and basically reprogram its guts to ignore the position in the call to ads().

What you want them to be able to grab yours? If so its really easy to do with html and make it a module. If you want you can PM me the links to the images and i can do it for you.

Buddy i found a nice html module and i think it will work out perfectly. Will just need to figure out the codebox below for the banner links to just cut and paste it to use on their websites.
