I've played around with this but had no luck getting it to display the way i want.

Code:
$formatawarddate = date("dMy",mktime(12,0,0,$Month,$Day,$Year));

Displays as 01Jan09

What would I need to change the M to in order for it to show up in capital letters? Can I do it without altering the nuke files?

01JAN09

Thanks as always,
Hels
